VU LMS Website Issue: Request to Cancel Lecture - Watching Requirement

Dear Students, 

We understand that while the VULMS login issue has been partially resolved, some students are still facing challenges accessing the platform. These login difficulties are affecting the ability to complete essential LMS activities, including watching lectures, which is a prerequisite for attempting quizzes in certain subjects. 

To address this issue, Virtual University has provided a solution: 

-Students are advised to generate a support ticket through the Support System under the My Courses section. 

- The purpose of the ticket is to request instructors to cancel the lecture-watching requirement for the affected courses. 

This step is essential to ensure that no student faces unnecessary academic setbacks due to technical issues. If you're experiencing these difficulties, please act promptly and follow the process to submit your request. 

Generate Tickets on VU Support System in Three (3) Sections:

 

1.Generate ticket in My Course Section........................................................ 1

2.     Address it to the IT department……….................................................... 2

3.     Submit it to the Director of Administration….......................................... 3


Ticket 01 :

Message:

Respected Sir,

With due respect, it is stated that we students have been facing issues logging in to the LMS for about two weeks. The issue was resolved to some extent, but at times, the website still shows errors.

Similarly, while watching lectures, the LMS suddenly stops working, and quizzes get missed because lecture viewing is mandatory for some subjects.

Kindly look into this matter and cancel the requirement of mandatory lecture viewing for attempting quizzes.

With due respect, it is stated that we students have been facing LMS login issues for about two weeks. Although the issue was partially resolved, the website still shows errors at times. Additionally, while watching lectures, the LMS suddenly stops working, causing quizzes to be missed.

With midterm exams approaching, we also need to focus on preparation. Kindly resolve this issue at the earliest, as it is causing significant trouble for us. Also, I request you to cancel the requirement of lecture viewing for attempting quizzes.
